September is Honey Month! Here are two great books about bees and honey

  • These Bees Count! By Alison Formento- a counting book with lots of information about honeybees

  • The Beeman by Laurie Krebs- an American Farm Bureau Agriculture Foundation Book of the Year, Grandpa is a beeman, and his grandson takes the reader on a trip through all the steps and equipment used in working with bees.

 Honey Cinnamon Apple Dip

1/4 cup light sour cream
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey (or more to taste)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (or more to taste)

 Stir together sour cream and yogurt in a bowl. Add honey and cinnamon and combine. Serve with sliced apples.

 

 With leaves starting to fall, make a collection and use them in an art project.
